General Duties of a Caregiver

As senior care aides, you are responsible for ensuring that your clients are well cared for, happy, and safe. Our team provides a variety of services based on their skill set. General duties include:

  • Offer senior home care services such as companion care, personal care, and transportation assistance, meal preparation, and assistance with other daily living activities
  • Socialize and develop long-term relationships with your clients
  • Assist seniors who have unique needs as a result of chronic diseases or illnesses
  • Empathize with your clients and aim to build a supportive atmosphere for them and their family

Employment Requirements

To be a caregiver on the Comfort Keepers team, you must follow a few criteria to ensure the wellbeing of our team and clients. Please see our complete list of specifications for our agency below:

  • Home Care Aide Registry, and Clearance – we can guide you to become a Registered HCA
  • TB Clearance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • A reliable vehicle and current insurance
  • Not a requirement, but highly sought after: experience as a CNA, Senior Care Aides, Personal Care Aide/Assistant
