Comfort Keepers is looking for a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist a client in Fort Worth, TX!

Are you passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life? We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to a client in the 76116 area.


Schedule

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 12 hours per week


Responsibilities

  • Assist with showering, bathing, shampooing, and hair care.
  • Provide assistance with dressing and undressing.
  • Offer standby assistance while the client walks to promote safety and help prevent falls.
  • Open medication bottles and provide medication reminders as directed. No medication administration.
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to the client's preferences and dietary needs.
  • Encourage proper food and fluid intake.
  • Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping as needed.
  • Assist the client with safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful social interaction.
  • Encourage participation in activities and community outings.
  • Document care provided during each shift and promptly report any significant changes in the client's condition or abilities.


Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
  • Experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Comfortable providing standby assistance with ambulation.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive to client safety.
  • Able to follow the client's care plan and document services accurately.
