Part-Time Caregiver in Fort Worth, Texas

We are currently hiring Caregivers for one of our clients in Fort Worth, TX, especially those who can commit to consistent weekly and every-other-weekend shifts.

Available Fort Worth Shifts

We are looking for caregivers available to work:

• Wednesday & Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend

(Consistent availability is highly preferred.)

What You’ll Do

Personalized Care & ADLs

• Assist with transfers (bed wheelchair), mobility support, and safe repositioning
• Provide help with morning hygiene, dressing, toileting, and adult brief changes
• Support skin integrity by monitoring for irritation or pressure sores

Daily Living Support

• Heat delivered meals (Cuisine Healing) and assist during meals if needed
• Light housekeeping and laundry (upon request)
• Pet care for her cat and dog

Engagement & Companionship

• Accompany the client on rides around the neighborhood (walking alongside the powered wheelchair)
• Encourage meaningful connection while respecting her strong preference for independence
• Communicate regularly to understand her needs and comfort level

Safety & Environment

• Ensure grab bars are secure and safely positioned
• Assist only when requested, honoring her desire for privacy, especially in the bedroom

Who Thrives in This Role

Experience:

1+ year of caregiving experience preferred; experience with stroke recovery or mobility assistance is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle & up-to-date auto insurance
• Ability to safely support transfers and mobility
• Comfort with pets (cat & dog)
