Job requirements:

1.Registered Nurse with a valid Ohio license

2.Minimum of 2 years nursing experience a. 1 year in a LTCF

AND have any ONE of these three: a.Completed a TTTP b.Have 1 year experience teaching adults c.In the last 3 years, has 1 year of supervision of nurse aides in a LTCF (as an RN) 4.Preferred: a.Experience teaching adult learners b.In-home nursing care experience Job Description: Job Title: Hybrid Role: In-Home Care RN / CNA Program Instructor Company: Comfort Keepers/CK Academy 5761 Chandler Court, Westerville OH 43082 Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Hybrid, Flexible Hours) Position Overview: Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a unique hybrid role combining in home nursing care and CNA program instruction. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide direct patient care while also shaping the next generation of caregivers as a Primary Instructor for our CNA training program. Note: The Primary Instructor responsibilities will begin pending approval from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Key Responsibilities: 1.In-Home Nursing Care (Comfort Keepers Clients) Provide nursing care to clients in their homes Conduct health assessments and develop care plans Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes Educate clients and families on care plans and health management 2. CK Academy Primary Instructor (Begins upon ODH approval) Deliver classroom and skills-based instruction for CNA students Supervise students during lab and clinical training Evaluate student competencies and performance Maintain compliance with state and federal training standards Assist with curriculum delivery and program coordination Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio Minimum 2 years of nursing experience At least 1 year in a long-term care facility required Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Experience teaching adult learners (preferred but not required) Schedule & Work Environment: Hybrid role: in-home care + classroom/clinical instruction Hours vary weekly based on client needs and class schedules Some evening or weekend availability may be required Why Join Comfort Keepers?
