Weekend Caregiver – 12-Hour Day Shifts | Fort Worth, TX

Comfort Keepers is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client in a facility setting in Fort Worth, Texas.

We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and experienced in assisting clients with mobility, transfers, personal care, and companionship. This position is ideal for a caregiver seeking a consistent weekend schedule while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life.

Schedule

• Days: Saturday and Sunday
• Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Location: Fort Worth, TX 76126
• Position Type: Part-time weekend assignment

Consistent availability for both weekend shifts is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Weekend pay differential for eligible shifts
• Paid orientation and training
• Biweekly pay through direct deposit
• Support from our Fort Worth office and scheduling team
• Opportunities to accept additional assignments, depending on availability

Responsibilities

As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you will provide attentive support to help the client remain safe, comfortable, and appropriately assisted throughout the shift.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Mobility and Transfers: Provide hands-on assistance with standing, pivoting, and transfers between the bed, wheelchair, and toilet.
• Fall Prevention: Maintain close supervision and follow appropriate safety precautions during all mobility and transfer activities.
• Wheelchair Assistance: Safely assist with wheelchair mobility to and from the bed and bathroom.
• Personal Care: Assist with toileting and other daily activities as needed.
• Positioning and Comfort: Help the client reposition comfortably while following the care plan and appropriate transfer procedures.
• Companionship and Supervision: Provide a reassuring presence, conversation, and attentive supervision throughout the shift.
• Care Coordination: Communicate relevant observations or concerns to the appropriate office contact and follow the established care plan.

The client has limited upper-body strength and is at high risk for falls. The caregiver must be comfortable providing hands-on transfer assistance and following established safety procedures.

Qualifications

We're looking for a caregiver who demonstrates compassion, reliability, and a commitment to client safety.

Requirements include:

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility, transfers, or wheelchair use is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with daily activities while following the care plan.
• Ability to follow transfer and fall-prevention procedures.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance, as required for the position.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to both Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, professional approach.
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and training.

Applicants must be comfortable assisting a client who requires physical support during transfers. Any lifting or transfer assistance must be performed within the caregiver's training and the approved care plan.
