We’re currently seeking On-Call Caregivers—flexible, dependable professionals who are available to step in when a client needs care on short notice. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to make a meaningful difference every day.
Position Details
Location: Evansville, IN (must be able to travel between clients within Vanderburgh County)
Schedule Options:
Weekend On-Call Caregiver – Open availability Saturdays and Sundays
Evening On-Call Caregiver – Open availability weekday evenings
Weekday On-Call Caregiver – Open availability Monday through Friday daytime
Pay: $16.00/hour + mileage reimbursement ($0.40/mile between clients)
Availability: Must be willing to accept same-day or next-day shifts and/or check in with the office daily to confirm availability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
On-Call Caregivers provide essential support when regular caregivers are unavailable. Duties include:
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility)
Performing light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and errands
Offering medication reminders and promoting a safe environment
Maintaining communication with the office about shift availability and client updates
Stepping in for last-minute coverage to ensure no client is left without care

Compassionate and professional in all client interactions
Strong communication and time-management skills
Reliable transportation and commitment to client safety and satisfaction
Job Requirements
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Negative TB test (in-office testing available if needed)
Must pass a background check (per Indiana in-home care regulations)
Attendance at in-person orientation at our Evansville office required
Two forms of ID (driver’s license, Social Security card, or birth certificate)
