Part-Time Caregiver - 76107

Comfort Keepers is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home support for a client with dementia in the 76107 area. We are seeking a professional who is patient, attentive, and deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by ensuring they remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Schedule

Thursday – Friday

7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Consistent availability for both scheduled days is required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour (based on CNA certification and experience)

As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver, You Will:

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Help clients dress, maintain hygiene, and lay out clothing
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare and plan nutritional meals suited to the client’s needs
• Perform light housekeeping tasks: laundry, linen changes, and general home tidiness
• Provide transportation to/from appointments and errands
• Help family members learn safe care techniques
• Follow the client’s care plan and report any changes in condition or needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum one year of senior care experience
• Dementia care experience required
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Ability to assist with personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities
• Ability to redirect, manage behaviors, and ensure a safe environment
• Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and valid driver’s license
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and emotionally mature
• Strong communication skills and awareness of safety protocols
