Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, dependable Male Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for a male senior in the Tulsa area who is living with dementia and depression.

For this client, the right CNA can make a meaningful difference—not only by providing personal care, but by becoming a consistent, familiar, and reassuring presence in his daily life.

Your Role in His Journey

As his CNA, you'll help create a safe, comfortable, and predictable environment while supporting his independence and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal care
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with daily routines
• Provide companionship, conversation and meaningful engagement
• Use patience, reassurance and redirection when navigating dementia-related behaviors
• Help maintain familiar routines and a calm environment
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Observe and report changes in mood, behavior or condition
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Communicate with the family and Comfort Keepers office team
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
• Follow the client's individualized plan of care

The CNA We're Looking For

This client needs more than someone who can complete a list of tasks. He needs someone who can show up consistently, earn his trust, and understand that every day may be different.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Patient – You remain calm and respectful during challenging moments.
• Dependable – You understand how important consistency is for someone living with dementia.
• Compassionate – You see the person, not just the diagnosis.
• Confident – You're comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
• Understanding – You recognize that changes in mood or behavior may be part of the client's condition.
• Professional – You maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality and respectful communication.
• Observant – You recognize changes and communicate concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Male CNA required for this specific client assignment
• Active Oklahoma CNA certification required
• Minimum 6 months of professional senior care experience
• Dementia care experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable phone and email access
• Consistent and dependable attendance
