Caregiver – Personal Care (Full-Time & Part-Time, Day Shifts)

Caregiver – All Shifts

Location: West Chester, PA

Shifts Available: Flexible scheduling – Days, Evenings, Weekends

Pay Range: Starting at $14.00–$17.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time

Job Responsibilities & Client Care Needs:

As a Personal Care Caregiver with Comfort Keepers in West Chester, PA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting seniors to live independently and with dignity in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance, including transportation to appointments or errands
• Supporting clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Offering compassionate companionship and meaningful conversation
• Observing and reporting changes in the client’s condition to the care team

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and up-to-date auto insurance
• Open availability strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and genuine passion for caring for others
• Must pass a Criminal Background Investigation and Pre-Employment Drug Screening

Special Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (CNA, PCA, HHA, or similar role)
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required per local or client-specific guidelines
• Comfort and capability with physical duties including lifting (up to 25 lbs), transfers, and mobility support
