Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide personalized in-home care to a client in Fort Worth, Texas.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of safe transfers and respectful personal care.

Schedule and Compensation

• Location: Fort Worth, TX 76109
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
• Total Hours: 10 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Paid orientation and required training
• Biweekly pay through direct deposit

What You'll Do

As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you will help the client maintain comfort, safety, and independence while assisting with daily personal care needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Transfer Assistance: Provide hands-on assistance with transfers between the bed and wheelchair, following the established care plan and approved transfer procedures.
• Personal Care: Assist with showering, hygiene, and other personal care activities as needed.
• Mobility and Safety: Help the client move safely and maintain proper positioning while following established safety precautions.
• Promote Independence: Encourage the client to perform activities independently whenever possible while remaining available to provide assistance.
• Proactive Care: Take initiative by checking on the client's needs and offering assistance rather than waiting to be asked.
• Observation and Reporting: Promptly communicate concerns or changes in the client's condition, mobility, skin integrity, or catheter status to the appropriate office contact.
• Comfort and Companionship: Maintain a respectful, supportive environment throughout the shift.

Important: This assignment requires complete caregiver assistance with transfers between the bed and wheelchair. Applicants must be physically capable and appropriately trained to perform the required transfers safely, according to the client's care plan and agency guidelines. Caregivers must not attempt transfers that cannot be completed safely.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a caregiver who is patient, attentive, dependable, and committed to providing quality care.

Qualifications include:

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with transfers and mobility is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care and follow established safety procedures.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the assignment within approved transfer procedures.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to the Monday–Friday morning schedule.
• Compassionate, respectful, and client-focused approach.
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and training.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance, as required for the position.

CNA certification is welcome but not required unless otherwise specified for the assignment.
