Do you want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people who need care? We are seeking compassionate and friendly individuals to join our team as a Caregiver/ CNA in Maple Grove and surrounding areas such as Osseo and Brooklyn Park. As a Caregiver/ CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. 

We are urgently hiring caregivers for a client in Maple Grove from 2-10pm on every other Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Are you looking for short shifts when your kids are in school? We're seeking caregivers who available to work 4 hour-shifts between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

Comfort Keepers is a well-known, top brand home health agency servicing the Metro Area that provides consistency, a great atmosphere with flexibility for our caregivers/ CNAs! Here at Comfort Keepers self-care is important! 

Essential Duties:  

• Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing/showering/sponge baths, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance/ incontinence
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals  
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including Hoyer Lift and EasyStand
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients  
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding 
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces 
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings 
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed  
• Utilize your smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emails

Qualifications:  

• At least 18 years old  
• Medication administration experience
• At least 2 years' experience as a Caregiver/ CNA for adults in in-home care, long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, nursing homes and/or hospice performing the full-range of personal caregiving skills including bathing/showering/sponge baths, gait belt and Hoyer Lift transfers, toileting assistance, dressing/grooming, bedbound care, and dementia care   
• Valid Driver’s License and active Auto Insurance 
• Able to pass a background check  
• Willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportation 
• Willing to do personal cares for males and females 
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds 
• Ability to read, comprehend and clearly speak English 
• Possess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails, downloading and using Apps, and completing online training 
• Able to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervision 
• High moral standards of honesty and integrity 
• Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screening 
• Engage clients in activities of interest 
• Follow care plans and accurately document tasks 
• If nearby shifts aren't available, be willing to drive up to 25 miles to a shift 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Caregiving experience with Hospice clients
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with client rights and home care practices
