Job Summary

We are looking for caring, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to join our team. As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you will provide companionship and assist clients with daily living activities while treating them with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Help with walking, transfers, and mobility assistance
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Transport clients to appointments or errands (when required)
• Observe changes in the client's condition and report concerns to the office
• Maintain a safe and clean home environment
• Follow the client's care plan and agency policies

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• High School Diploma
• Previous caregiving experience is highly preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers as needed
